"Doctor, I need to use a good retinol serum. What is the difference between retinol and other vitamin E derivatives?"
Retinol is one of the derivatives of vitamin A, which has been extensively studied over the years and has proven its effectiveness in reducing the appearance of signs of aging, wrinkles, and fine lines. Whether the wrinkles are caused by aging or exposure to harmful sun rays, retinol is considered one of the most effective ingredients for delaying and reducing the signs of aging, especially for oily skin, as it helps reduce sebum production.
It is also mentioned that the recommended serum to use is the "Retinol B3" from Infinity, as it not only contains retinol but also includes niacinamide, which reduces the appearance of dark spots and discolorations, and glycolic acid, which helps exfoliate the skin.
All of these benefits help prevent the appearance of signs of aging. The recommended way to use retinol is to apply it daily at night, preferably after washing the face and waiting for 15 minutes. It is also important to apply sunscreen in the morning. To see results from the routine, it is advisable to follow it for a period of 3 months.
